ELECTRONIC BANKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
The terms "we", "us", "our", "Bank", "Banco de Oro" and “BDO” refer to Banco de Oro Universal Bank. "You" refers to each enrolled user of the Banco de Oro's Credit Card Electronic Banking Services.
These Terms and Conditions form the contract between you as a customer and BDO as the provider of these services. By enrolling in and using BDO’s Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions. While we will provide a secure system, it is important that you know your rights and obligations as you also need to take responsibility for protecting your personal information and accounts once you are enrolled in the service/s.
BDO’s Credit Card Electronic Banking Services can be used to access and/or inquire on your credit card account/s provided that you specifically request to enroll your credit card accounts.
Acquiring Access to BDO’s Credit Card Electronic Banking Service
To enroll your credit card account/s through the BDO’s Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, you must have a valid Cash Advance PIN. In case you don’t have the said PIN, you may call the BDO call center to request for the same.
BDO Credit Card User ID and Password
You shall nominate your preferred User ID and Password upon enrollment to BDO Credit Card Internet Banking. Your preferred User ID shall be unique to you and when used together with your Password will enable you to access BDO Credit Card Internet Banking.
You will be responsible for keeping your User ID and password confidential. For security reasons, you must make it a habit to change your password regularly, especially if you suspect its confidentiality has been compromised. The password that you will select must not relate to any readily accessible personal data such as your name, birth date, address, phone number, or identification card number. It must not be an obvious combination of letters and numbers, including sequential numbers (e.g. 123456) or one which can easily be guessed by someone else.
Under no circumstances should you keep a written or electronic record of your User ID and password, nor disclose these to any other person, including family, co-employees and those with apparent authority, i.e. bank staff. These must remain confidential to you alone and you must take all reasonable steps to prevent disclosure.
General Use
You will not use or permit the use of your User ID and password in whole or in part for any purpose, whether legal or illegal, other than as specifically intended to carry out your credit card transactions and inquiries via BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services.
Transactions and/or inquiries carried out via the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services are subject to all BDO’s terms and conditions, including the prevailing BDO’s fees and charges at the time of the transaction or Inquiry as the case may be.
The use of your User ID and password will serve as your authorization for us to carry out transactions that you initiated.
You acknowledge that we shall have no obligation to verify authenticity of any instruction received from you through the use of your BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services accounts and without further inquiry, act on any directives contained in that instruction. The Bank shall be entitled (but not bound) to give effect to any instruction received, in the terms in which it was received. The Bank's record of any instruction shall (unless there is an obvious error) be final and binding.
Access and/or Inquiry on the Credit Card Account/s
We have the complete discretion to make available the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services to you. We have the authority to decide on the extent of the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, amend, limit, remove, suspend or discontinue any or all of the services without notice or accountability to you and without giving any reason. You agree that by using BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, after any changes has been made, you have agreed to any such changes. We will not be accountable to you if you are unable to access the system. You understand that while BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services is available 24-hours a day, some or all of the services may not be available at certain times due to prolonged power outages, maintenance, breakdown in computers and communication/electronic/network facilities, typhoons, floods, public disturbances and calamities and other similar or related cases.
Accuracy of Information
In BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, we provide you with information. You agree that we do not hereby guarantee the completeness and accuracy of any information. Also, we do not assure the accuracy, adequacy, or completeness of any information contained in the BDO Website. And that by proceeding to make the inquiry or transaction, you agree to be bound by such disclaimer.
You are responsible for and must take all reasonable care to ensure the information you supply is accurate. We accept no responsibility and liability for the accuracy of the information or for failure to transmit such information in the manner requested by you.
You must let us know as soon as you think there has been an error in your transactions carried out via BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services. You may:

We may require that you send us your complaint or query in writing within 24 hours; or
Send an email to the BDO Call Center (callcenter@bdo.com.ph), for questions or errors about online transactions/services; or
Write to BDO Call Center, Banco de Oro Universal Bank, 12 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
When you tell us your problem, please:
Tell us your name and Card Number.
Describe the error or transaction and explain why you believe it is an error.
Tell us the date and time of your transaction. To facilitate our investigation, supply the following details as applicable depending on the type of transaction: account number/s, merchant, subscriber number, amount, mobile number, and reference number for the transaction in question.
We will inform you of the results of our investigation immediately, and we will correct any error promptly. However, we do not guarantee reversal of your transaction that has been completely consummated and is irreversible.
Transactions
We will try to effect such transactions on your credit card account/s as received via BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, provided there are sufficient funds available in your accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is a sufficient available balance in your credit card account/s at all times to cover any of your transactions, immediate or scheduled, and that these accounts are active. Any charges or penalties as a result of an unsuccessful transaction, due to insufficiency of funds or inactive credit card account, shall only be for your own account and responsibility.
We implement cut-offs during the day for each transaction. If you carried out a transaction after the cut-off time, it will be stored and processed the next banking day. Any charges or penalties as a result of a next day transaction will be your sole responsibility.
Notice
Notice to you may be sent to your address as shown on our records by regular mail or via electronic mail or other means of communication as we deem appropriate.
Liability
The Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature in connection with the implementation of transactions coursed through the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services in the following instances:
1. Disruption, failure or delay relating to or in connection with the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services which are due to circumstances beyond the control of the Bank, fortuitous events such as but not limited to prolonged power outages, breakdown in computers and communication facilities, typhoons, floods, public disturbances and calamities and other similar or related cases.
2. Loss or damage you may suffer arising out of any fraudulent access or utilization of the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services due to theft or unauthorized disclosure of User IDs, passwords, or violation of other security measures with or without your participation.
3. Inaccurate, incomplete or delayed information you received due to disruption or failure of any communication facilities used for BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services.
The Bank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit or damage you may suffer or have suffered by reason of your use or failure or inability to use the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services.
You may be liable for some or all loss from unauthorized transactions if you have breached these Terms and Conditions or contributed to or caused that loss. You agree to hold the Bank, its stockholders, directors, officers, employees and representatives free and harmless, as well as indemnify them, from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, suits of whatever kind and nature, arising out of or in connection with the implementation of BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, including any and all errors inadvertently committed, any computer-related errors resulting to the Bank's failure to effect any instruction via BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services.
Fees and Charges
We may from time to time upon giving you Notice, introduce or change fees and charges for your use of BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services.
You authorize us to debit the credit card account enrolled by you for the amount of our fees and charges payable on transactions made through the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services. If at any time there are insufficient available balance in your credit card accounts to cover fees and charges, we may refuse to carry out your inquiries or transactions without incurring any liability as a result of such refusal or we are authorized to overdraw your account by debiting fees and charges or debit any other account you hold with us. This can be applicable moving forward since previous accounts under equitable cards has the ADA (Auto Debit Facility). This will also be offered to existing BDO Cardholders with a bank account with us. This will take place once the credit card migration is complete.
Termination of Service
You may request that we terminate your access permanently by calling the BDO Call Center. You will remain responsible for any transactions made on your account until the time of cancellation. The Bank shall not be liable for any or all remaining scheduled transactions that you previously set up.
We may terminate your access at any time, provided you have been given thirty (30) days prior notice of such termination.
We may terminate your access without prior notice if:
You have breached these Terms and Conditions
We learn of your death, bankruptcy or lack of legal capacity or that you have committed an act of bankruptcy or that a bankruptcy petition has been presented against you
There are insufficient available funds under your credit card account/s to cover payments or payment instructions given; or
We consider that we have other reasonable grounds to do so (in which case all reasonable effort will be made to advise you of the circumstances of termination or suspension)
Consent to Recording
You hereby consent to our recording of your telephone instructions to/ conversations with our BDO Call Center Officers/staff and you hereby agree that such recordings may be submitted as evidence in any court or other proceedings relating to your availment of the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services or the BDO Call Center Service.
Consent to Receive Announcement
You hereby agree to receive messages/announcements from BDO regarding any of its products, services and promos via mail, telephone, e-mails or text.
Other Conditions
We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time and will give you thirty (30) days prior notice of such changes.
Should the Bank become involved in any litigation which may have relation with BDO’s Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, the Terms and Conditions of its use, or with any rights, powers and remedies hereunder, you agree to pay all fees and expenses incurred by the Bank in the said litigation, including a reasonable amount for the attorney's fees which amount is hereby agreed to be at the rate of at least 10% of the sum sought, which shall not in any way fall below P10,000.00. Venue of all legal actions or proceeding arising out of or in connection with BDO's Electronic Banking Services shall be brought in the proper courts of Makati or Mandaluyong City, Philippines or any other place where the Bank may subsequently transfer its principal place of business.
YOUR BDO Credit Card
Only the enrolled BDO Card holders (the”Cardholder”) shall be entitled to use the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services but shall be responsible for keeping the details provided by BDO confidential.
The BDO Card holders(the”Cardholder) agrees that he/she passed the corresponding security details by providing BDO Credit Card Website valid information/s. By using the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services, you have accepted and agreed to be bound by any and all laws, rules, regulations and official issuances applicable to BDO Website.
The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BDO Credit Cards are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof.
All the Terms and Conditions herein stated, including the Terms and Conditions in separate documents governing the issuance of BDO Credit Cards and any amendments there to have been read and understood as evidenced by the signature on the application form, on the BDO Credit Card and/or the credit card sales invoice or other forms of documents evidencing charges to the BDO Credit Card, or upon retention of use of BDO Credit Card
Use of the credit card is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance of the BDO Credit Cards and any Amendments thereto as stated in your Card Carrier, and as may be amended by BDO from time to time.
YOUR MONTHLY BILLING STATEMENT
Annual Membership Fee
The Cardholder agrees to pay the Annual Membership Fee to be determined by Banco de Oro Unibank, Inc. (“BDO”) for the use of the BDO Credit Card/s as set forth below (“Card”). Currently, the applicable Annual Membership Fees are as follows:

Supplementary Cards
As a principal Cardholder in good standing, you may apply for up to five (5) supplementary Cads for immediate family members (parents, siblings, spouse and children, 13 years old and above). With the sublimit feature, you can manage supplementary Cards expenses by simply assigning a specific credit amount for each of the supplementary cardholders. As a principal cardholder, you shall be liable for all the purchase and cash advances made, including all interests and changes incurred through the use of the supplementary Cards.
Card Validity and Renewal
Unless terminated or canceled prior to expiry date, your Card is valid from the issue date up to the last calendar day of the month indicated on the face of your Card. Renewal of the Card will be at the sole discretion of BDO. If the Card is not renewed, BDO may demand the obligation in full.
Statement Date
This is the regular statement cut-off date of all your BDO Credit Card transactions. If your statement falls on weekend or a holiday, your statement date will be the preceeding working day or the first working day after your official statement date.
Billing Statement
You will get two separate billing statements. All your local transactions will be billed in Philippine Peso, while your international purchases will be billed in US Dollars. For your dollar billing, you have the option to pay the exact amount in Dollar or ask for the exchange rate during payment when you want to pay in Peso.
Payment Due Date
Payment should be made on or before the Payment Due Date indicated in your statement of account to keep your account active and to avoid late payment charges. If your payment due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a Holiday, payment must be made on or before the last working day prior to the Payment Due Date.
Minimum Payment
This is the minimum amount that must be paid on or before Payment Due Date. This is the sum of the following: (a) 5% of your Outstanding Balance (Less installment amortization, if any); (b) Installment amortization; (c ) Overdue balance; (d) Over-Limit Amount. You pay the sum of (a), (b), (c) and (d) or P200 (or US $5 for Dollar transactions**), whichever is higher. In case of default, BDO may demand the obligation in full.
Outstanding Balance
This is your total outstanding obligation to BDO as of Statement Date.
Finance Charge
If you choose to pay your Outstanding Balance in full on or before the Payment Due Date, no finance charge will be imposed. However, if you choose to pay only the Minimum Payment or any amount less than the Outstanding Balance on or before the Payment Due Date, you will be treated as a borrower or a “revolver”. Hence, a finance charge (based on the prevailing interest rate) as set forth below, will be imposed on the unpaid balance stated in your previous Statement of account (SOA) and on all new transaction posted within the statement period, computed from the Post Date until the current Statement Date.

Interest rates are determined by BDO and are subject to change in accordance with prevailing market rates. |
Credit Limit
Your Credit Limit is the maximum outstanding balance that you and your Supplementary cardholders, if any, can maintain at any given time. Each principal Card has its own assigned Credit Limit. Please keep your outstanding balance within your assigned Credit Limit. BDO reserves the right to approve or disapprove any purchase or advance that exceeds your Credit Limit. Any amount in excess of the assigned Credit Limit becomes due for payment immediately.
Cash Advance Limit
Cash advances may be availed of up to the extent of your cash advance Limit via over-the-counter at any BDO branch or ATMs bearing the MasterCard Cirrus Logo. Each cash advance transaction is subject to a 5% service fee or a minimum amount of P300, whichever is higher. Dollar cash advance service fee is 2% or US$5, whichever is higher**. Finance charges will also accrue from the date of cash advance until the same is completely settled.
Overdue Amount
This refers to the unpaid balance of the Minimum Payment Due after the Payment Due Date.
Late Payment Charges
If no payment is made on or before Payment Due Date or Payment made is below the Minimum Payment, a Late Charge of 5% of the Over Due Amount or P300, whichever is higher, will be charge to your account. For dollar transactions, a late charge of 4.5% of the overdue amount or US$6, whichever is higher**.
Fees/Other Debits
BDO-Initiated Fees may be charged to your account from time to time. This portion may include: Annual membership fee, Cash Advance Fee, Lost Card Replacement Fee, Returned Check Penalty Fee and other applicable fees. Such fees may be revised from time to time.
Sale Date
This refers to the transaction date of a purchase or a cash advance.
Post Date
This refers to the date when your purchase, cash advance, payment, or adjustment is posted to your account.
Easy Installment Program
The monthly installment due under BDO's Easy Installment Program/s (Easy Transfer: Easy pay: Cash: EasyPay Convert: Easy Pay Merchant Installment) form part of the Minimum Payment amount indicated in the monthly billing statement. The monthly Installment due is computed as the base amount multiplied by the applicable factor rate of the chosen term (the number of months within which the entire base amount must be paid). The total installment is the base amount plus the interest due. The installment interest rate is determined by BDO and subject to change in accordance with the prevailing market rates for similar transactions and terms.
Changes In Fees and Charges
The Fees and/or charges as herein set forth may be revised by BDO from time to time as BDO deem necessary, with reasonable prior notice.
Address / Data Change
Any change in your address (Post Office Box address not accepted), telephone number and your data must be immediately relayed to BDO by calling the BDO Customer Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000. Until BDO is notified of such change, BDO will continue to use the address/telephone number/data on file.
Lost Or Stolen Card
When your Card is lost or stolen, please report it immediately by calling BDO Customer Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000. The Lost Card Protection (LCP) feature frees you from any liability when your card gets used fraudulently. However, coverage under the LCP begins from the time the loss or theft is reported to BDO Customer Contact Center. In such an event, your card will be permanently block and a card replacement fee will be charged to your account, if applicable.
Errors Or Questions About Your Bill
Please examine your SOA for any errors. If no error is reported to BDO Customer Contact Center within 30 days from Statement Date, the SOA will be considered true and accurate and binding upon you.
Foreign Exchange Conversion Rate
All International charges, advances or amounts made by the cardholder in currencies other than US Dollars will be automatically converted at the time of posting to US Dollars at MasterCard's/Amex/ Visa's/ JCB's foreign exchange selling rate. Assessment fee of 1% plus service fee of 1% of the converted amount will be charged by MasterCard's/ Amex/Visa's/ JCB and BDO respectively, and shall be imposed at the sole and absolute discretion of BDO and may be subject to change.
Sales Slip Retrieval Fee
The Cardholder agrees to pay P250 for each sales slip retrieved upon request of the cardholder, for whatever reason. The same Amount will be charged to the cardholder for each sales slip retrieved by BDO arising for an invalid dispute.
AUTO-CHARGE FACILITY
BDO Credit Cards Auto Charge Facility is an automated payment facility offered to BDO Credit Card holders (the “Cardholder”) to conveniently settle monthly bill/s (i.e. utility, telecommunications, premiums, membership, and the like) of accredited utility partners by Auto Charging the amounts thereof to their BDO Credit Card through a One-time enrollment for automatic charge of the monthly bill/s (“Auto Charge settlement”). Only Principal Cardholders are qualified to enroll in the Homebills Auto Charge Facility of BDO Credit Card and must be in active status prior to enrollment. In case of approval of the enrollment application, you will be notified accordingly. The Bank shall charge to the enrolled BDO Credit Card account the amount due as indicated in the utility/service provider’s statement of account with the exclusion of other charges not included therein. You shall pay the bill/s due directly to the utility/service provider only in case we have rejected the payment transaction or upon cancellation of the enrolled periodic bill account/s as notified by BDO to the cardholder. The Bank shall have the absolute discretion to approve or reject your enrollment application with or without reason thereof and without the need of notification in case of rejection. Likewise, we may reject or cancel any Auto-Charge Authorization on grounds such as but not limited to:
a.Insufficiency or non-availability of available credit line of the BDO Credit Card Account;
b.Overdue Balance;
c.Suspended or Past Due Status;
d.Cardholder’s cancellation of his/her Auto-Charge Payment Facility Request and/or
e.Cancellation of BDO Credit Card
In such case, the cardholder shall not hold BDO Credit Cards and the utility/service provider liable for any damage that the Cardholder may suffer, directly or indirectly by reason of such rejection or cancellation.
The Cardholder hereby authorizes BDO to process late payment to the periodic bill/s without the need of notification and further authorization thereof, due to late payment instructions, late delivery of the periodic bill/s statement of account, or by reason of computer error. In such event, you shall not hold BDO liable for any penalty, inconvenience, delay, damage liability, loss or other consequences that may arise from such late payment including but not limited to, disconnection or interruption of services.
In case of cancellation or suspension of the Auto Charge payment enrollment of the Cardholder and/or the Homebills Auto Charge payment enrollment of a third party (subscriber) account with a utility/service provider, the Cardholder agrees that he/she shall be solely responsible for informing the affected subscriber of the Homebills Auto Charge Payment enrollment cancellation/suspension at the soonest time possible without delay. The Cardholder shall indemnify and render BDO and the utility/service provider concerned free and harmless from any claim, action, suit, liability, damage whatsoever which may arise as a result of or in connection with the failure or delay of the Cardholder to immediately inform the affected Subscriber of the Homebills Auto Charge Payment enrollment cancellation/suspension, and/or as a result of or in connection with the implementation of the Homebills Auto Charge Payment enrollment cancellation/suspension.
In case a new/replacement BDO Credit Card is issued in lieu of a lost/stolen BDO Credit Card or due to Card upgrade or downgrade, the Cardholder hereby authorizes BDO to automatically re-enroll under the new/replacement BDO Credit Card number, all previously enrolled Homebills Auto Charge accounts of Cardholder, without need of notice to or consent of Cardholder. The new/replacement BDO Credit Card should have been activated prior to such auto-enrollment.
BDO shall inform the Cardholder in case the payment agreement between BDO and the utility/service provider has been terminated. It is understood that the obligation of BDO to process payment of periodic bills under the Homebills Auto Charge Payment Facility shall automatically cease upon termination of BDO’s agreement with the utility/service provider. Should the cardholder decide to cancel his enrollment under the Homebills Auto Charge Payment Facility, Cardholder should dis-enroll in the BDO Website is required to effect such cancellation, and cancellation shall be effective only after fifteen (15) days from BDO’s receipt of such dis-enroll notification without prejudice to unpaid and accrued obligations of the Cardholder to BDO, if any.
CHARGE ON-DEMAND FACILITY
BDO Credit Cards Charge-On-Demand Facility is a payment facility offered to BDO Credit Card holders (the “Cardholders”) to conveniently settle periodic bill/s (i.e. utility, telecommunications, premiums, membership, and the like) of various companies with collection agreement by charging the amounts thereof to their BDO Credit Cards on a per request basis or as deemed necessary by the cardholder (Charge-On-Demand settlement).
Only Principal Cardholders are qualified to enroll in the Charge-On-Demand Bills Payment Facility of BDO Credit Cards and must be active status prior to enrollment in the Charge on Demand Payment Facility.
To avail of the BDO Credit Cards Charge on Demand Bills Payment Facility, the Cardholder must indicate the specific bills and provide all necessary information about the bill/s being paid through the BDO Credit Card.
The Bank shall debit the periodic bills upon authentication and verification of the BDO Credit Card account provided by the Cardholder.
BDO shall charge to the relevant BDO Credit Card account number the amount due as requested by the cardholder with the exclusion of other charges not included therein. The Cardholder shall pay the bill/s due directly to the utility/service provider only in case BDO Credit Cards has rejected the payment transaction as notified by BDO Credit Cards to the Cardholder.
We shall have the absolute discretion to reject or cancel any Charge on Demand Bills Payment Facility Request authorization on grounds such as, but not limited to:
a.Insufficiency or non-availability of available credit line of the BDO Credit Card Account;
b.Overdue Balance;
c.Suspended or Past Due Status;
d.Cardholder’s cancellation of his/her Auto-Charge Payment Facility Request and/or
e.Cancellation of BDO Credit Card
In such case, the cardholder shall not hold BDO and the utility/service provider liable for any damage that the Cardholder may suffer, directly or indirectly by reason of such rejection or cancellation.
The Cardholder hereby authorizes BDO to process late payment to the periodic bill/s without the need of notification and further authorization thereof, due to late payment instructions, late delivery of the periodic bill/s statement of account, or by reason of computer error. In such event, you shall not hold BDO liable for any penalty, inconvenience, delay, damage liability, loss or other consequences that may arise from such late payment including but not limited to, disconnection or interruption of services.
BDO shall inform the Cardholder in case the payment agreement between BDO Credit Cards and the utility/service provider has been terminated. It is understood that the obligation of BDO Credit Cards to process payment of periodic bills under Charge on Demand Payment facility shall automatically cease upon termination of BDO Credit Cards’ agreement with the utility/service provider.
All the Terms and Conditions herein stated, including the Terms and Conditions in separate documents governing the issuance of BDO Credit Cards and any amendments there to,have been read and understood as evidenced by the signature on the application form, on the BDO Credit Card and/or the credit card sales invoice or other forms of documents evidencing charges to the BDO Credit Card, or upon retention of use of BDO Credit Card.
EASY PAY CONVERT
Banco De Oro (BDO) shall have the absolute and exclusive right to approve or reject applications for Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion. If the Cardholder has no sufficient credit limit, BDO has the sole discretion to approve only a portion of the amount applied for. In case of rejection of the application, BDO is under no obligation to notify the Cardholder of the said rejection and of the present reason therefore.
The Cardholder acknowledges liability to BDO for any Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion request that has been implemented and the amount of Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion together with interest and penalty charges. If any, will form part of the Cardholder’s payment obligation to his/her BDO Credit Card.
Monthly installments due on the Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion together with monthly interest and penalty charge, if any, shall be billed to the Cardholder and shall commence on the Cardholder’s next statement date and every month thereafter until the total amount payable is paid in full.
In cases of suspension, cancellation and/or non-renewal of the BDO Credit Card due to non-payment or breach of the terms and conditions governing the use of the card, all unpaid amounts under the Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion as well as the outstanding balance in the Cardholder’s account shall become due and demandable for immediate payment.
The Cardholder acknowledges that BDO, in its sole judgment, may discontinue the Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion Program of BDO Credit Cards at any given time without notice, and Cardholders shall have no claim whatsoever against BDO for the termination of the Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion feature of the card.
The monthly interest rates are determined by BDO and may be subject to change in accordance with prevailing market rates for similar transactions and terms.
Not with standing the foregoing, the Cardholder acknowledges that the agreed periodic amortization computed using the corresponding factor rate indicated in the Disclosure Statement may differ from the amortization computed and generated by the BDO system due to rounding off the corresponding factor rate, which is automated in BDO’s system. Cardholder hereby consents and authorizes BDO to round off the corresponding factor rate in the computation of the agreed periodic amortization and hereby accepts any change in the factor rate, including the amortization amount as a result thereof.
The Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the BDO Credit Cards shall continue to apply to the Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion Program and to the Cardholder’s availment of such Program and shall be deemed incorporated with and made integral parts of these Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict between the above stated provisions and the BDO Credit Cards Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail.
The above Terms and Conditions may be amended and supplemented by BDO from time to time.
The Cardholder’s use/availment of the Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion Program constitutes the Cardholder’s agreement to the above Terms and Conditions.

Banco De Oro (BDO) shall have the absolute and exclusive right to approve or reject applications for Cash/Retail Transaction Conversion. If the Cardholder has no sufficient credit limit, BDO has the sole discretion to approve only a portion of the amount applied for. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. It shall be understood that access to and use of the BDO Credit Card Electronic Banking Services shall be subject to applicable requirements and procedures of government telecommunications or other regulatory authorities and those prescribed by law.
